Adi Kailash, also referred to as Shiva Kailash, Chota Kailash, Baba Kailash, or Jonglingkong Peak, stands majestically in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, India, within the grandeur of the Himalayan mountain range. This sacred peak holds the distinction of being the second most significant among a group of five distinct peaks collectively known as the Panch Kailash or "Five Kailashas."

Day 1: Kathgodam/Tanakpur to Dharchula
Begin your spiritual journey from Kathgodam (554m), the gateway to Uttarakhand's Kumaon region, or Tanakpur. Both locations are well-connected by road and rail. Kathgodam serves as a key transit point for Adi Kailash, Om Parvat, and the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via Lipulekh Pass. On arrival, proceed to Dharchula and check into your hotel.

Day 2: Dharchula to Gunji/Nabi
Travel to Gunji, a serene village at 3,200m near the India-Tibet border. This base station for Adi Kailash and Om Parvat offers picturesque views. En route, pass through Chialekh, Garbyang, and Nepalchu villages, enjoying breathtaking mountain landscapes, waterfalls, and rivers. Stay overnight in a guesthouse or homestay in Gunji.

Day 3: Nabi to Navidang & Om Parvat
After breakfast, drive to Nabhidang (4,340m), the viewpoint for Om Parvat, renowned for its natural snow formation in the shape of 'Om'. Spend time admiring this sacred site, then return to Gunji. On the way back, visit Sheshnag Parvat, Ved Vyas Gufa, and the Kali Temple at Kalapani village for a spiritual experience. Overnight stay at Gunji.

Day 4: Nabi to Jyolingkong & Adi Kailash
Travel to Jyolingkong (4,762m) in local jeeps to witness the majestic Adi Kailash. On the way, see Kunti Parvat, Pandav Fort, Brahma Parvat, Pandav Parvat, and Parvati Mukut. A short trek leads to Parvati Lake (Gauri Kund) and Adi Kailash Temple. Take a holy dip in the lake and collect sacred water before returning to Gunji for the night.

Day 5: Gunji/Nabi to Dharchula
Begin your return journey from Gunji to Dharchula, passing through scenic routes. Depending on road conditions, the drive may take longer than expected. Upon arrival, relax at your hotel.

Day 6: Dharchula to Kathgodam/Tanakpur
Conclude your pilgrimage with a drive back to Kathgodam or Tanakpur, where you can connect to onward journeys. Depart with cherished memories of your divine experience.
